Frequently asked questions

Who can practice breathwork?

EVERYONE! Breathwork does not discriminate and is for all. It can be particularly beneficial for anyone experience anxiety, depression, anger, fear, traumatic response, or for those looking to deepen their inner work practice. It is suggested you be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent.

How do I book a session?

I offer 1:1 private sessions and monthly group sessions both in-person and virtually over Zoom. To learn more or book a session, visit the contact me page or click the button below.

Can I practice breathwork on my own, without a facilitator?

It is recommended to have a solid foundation established by working with a trained, certified Breathwork practitioner prior to self exploration. I am happy to further discuss this option with qualified students.

What can I expect during a 1:1 session?

Each session is unique—no two are the same regardless of how long one has been breathing! For those who are new to the technique, the first session begins with an overview of the breathing pattern, what to expect while you’re breathing and a brief demonstration. We will waste no time and dive right into the pattern. After breathing, we will slowly integrate back into the space where the floor is open for sharing, questions, and comments.

Does virtual breathwork have the same effect?

YES! The power of breathwork is from within the breather and is easily accessed virtually with the guidance and support of a qualified facilitator.

Do you offer group sessions?

Yes, I currently offer 1-2 group sessions each month, typically around the new and full moon. Check the events page for upcoming group sessions in the Boone and Asheboro areas of North Carolina.
