about zulyha

An artist, desert dweller, nurturer, friend of the plants, dreamer, lover of landscapes, communicator, movement-maker, and writer. Zulyha’s practice in the art of living embodies an intentional commitment to gentleness.

Hailing from New York’s Hudson Valley, Zulyha was raised on the eastern banks of the Hudson River, finding endless teachings in the rainbow-hued river rocks and undulating tides. The river continued to serve as a source of support, education, and inspiration in Zulyha’s life and work throughout her years in the valley.

Zulyha’s abounding curiosity for the natural world and its inhabitants encouraged a search for meaning in the form of traveling, learning, and creating. This path forged the way for discovery — both internally and externally.

Formally, Zulyha’s work takes on the form of a movement instructor, specializing in several modalities of yoga, and a breathwork facilitator. Her intention is based in supportive consciousness, aiming to create an environment that is inclusive, welcoming, safe, and above all, comforting.

When Zulyha is not holding space for her valued clients, she can be found learning the names of wildflowers, traipsing through forests, scouting out bodies of water, reading philosophy under the stars, and cooking her way through the seasons.
